Nathan Pitlor, an immigrant to the United States at the turn
of the century, became a master plumber in New York City in
the early 1900’s. Seeking opportunity, Nathan ventured west
to Omaha, Nebraska, and fulfilled his life long dream of
owning a business when he began Pitlor Plumbing and Heating
Company in 1908. The company successfully performed plumbing
and heating installations for residential and commercial and
institutional customers throughout World War I, the Great
Depression, and World War II. As other companies came and
went, Pitlor Plumbing continued to prosper through good
economic times and bad. |
